Frequently asked questions

Short answers about payments on the web, the app, your account and data.

What should I do if I do not know my birth time?

Try to verify it through official records or family information. You can use general content that does not require a time, but an exact Rising sign, houses and Astrofes synastry require it. Synastry never assumes 12:00.

How should I choose my birthplace?

Choose the actual city or district where you were born. If places share a name, check the country and region; Astrofes uses the selected coordinates in the calculation.

Why can my Rising sign differ from another site?

Small birth-time differences, daylight-saving or timezone records, place coordinates and calculation methods can change the result. First confirm that both sites use identical date, time and place inputs.

Which house system should I choose?

No single house system is mandatory for everyone. Choose one offered in the Astrofes form and use it consistently when comparing results; changing it can move house cusps and planet houses.

Why are two birth times required for synastry?

The current Astrofes synastry compares both people's Rising signs, houses and time-sensitive placements. Both times are required; no analysis is created when one is missing and 12:00 is never assumed.

What are the second person's birth details used for?

They calculate the second chart and compare planetary, aspect and house contacts between both charts. The result is not an absolute verdict about the relationship.

How close to an astrocartography line is considered relevant?

Astrofes does not promise one universal fixed distance. Read the line together with the distance shown in the nearby-lines area; being directly on a line and being in its wider area are not treated as identical.

Which timezone does Today's Sky use?

The canonical daily snapshot uses Europe/Istanbul. Its date, update time, Moon, planets and aspect summary belong to the same Istanbul day.

Why might my chart results change over time?

Core natal positions do not change when the same birth inputs and method are used. Inputs, timezone, coordinates or house system can change the result; daily and weekly sky content updates for its stated date.

What does Astrofes Kozmik calculate?

Astrofes Kozmik is the calculation infrastructure used for natal planetary positions, houses, aspects, synastry comparisons, daily sky data and astrocartography lines.

Which system powers the calculations on Astrofes

Birth chart, planetary positions, houses, aspects, synastry and astrocartography calculations on Astrofes are produced through our own calculation infrastructure called Astrofes Kozmik.
